Silent Spring Records is the musical expression of Laboratório Experimental de Som. We use soundscapes as a resource for the construction of inter-species dialogues and sensorial awareness of natural reality, where the body is integrated as a sensor. We like to experience with acoustic dynamics to approach the practice of the art of storytelling and through soundscapes and experimental music. We like to work with ecomusicology; bridging music, nature, and environmental awareness.


Creating, understanding interrelationships and listening carefully is the whole process of this type of epistemology. We offer workshops, classes and different actions to understand how to create, from these techniques and proposals, for the telling of nature stories and engagement trying to understand the new enviromental paradigm.
